With the evolving coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, we know it’s a challenging time for everyone. Despite the progress that has been made in the fight to combat Covid-19, there has been no regulated consensus on how to formulate a unified plan to get our students back in the classrooms safely. Into the second semester of the second year of this pandemic, the raging debate between the experts and parents on the effects on students from preschool to college continues. Despite the data that supports caution and common sense measures, there are options that are available that fit geographical and other situations. 
Safety first: no one can dispute in-classroom instruction weighs heavily on the ability to provide the safest learning environment possible. Virtual learning has produced mixed results. Many school districts and colleges weren’t prepared to handle the intangibles of providing the infrastructure and instructions with equity for all students. The third option is Home school programs.
